As we start the early part of October, there is a bit of a buzz in the office. It seems that phones are starting to ring and emails are pinging. After a rather slow August and September, could October be our break out month? Let’s hope so!!!
Combining home and condo sales the total year to date sold number is 66. This compares to 80 sold last year in the same time frame. Sales are down mostly on the condo side of the market. The good news is, home sale prices are up from a year ago on average $25,000 and on condos the average price is up nearly $30,000. Remember that the number of condo sales is small so one or two is enough to skew the numbers. Never the less condo sale prices are up.
